DP2-0202MV Measuring Microscope

The series is designed for the industries that require high quality imaging and small size precision measurement. Such as medical device manufacture, electronic device manufacture and R&D. Comparing with the traditional DRO systems, DP2-0202MV can achieve higher precision with sub-pixel edge detection. The software enables customers to do image documentation, annotation, comparison and analysis. The software can also maintain image database.

DP2-0202MV-P Model 

The system is digital imaging or visual inspection applications with little or no measurement requirement. The stage with micrometer heads helps to move or position the part smoothly and precisely. With the software equipped, the system can create a large size of image by merging several field of view captures together.

 To do measurement that is larger than the fields of view, enter the micrometer head reading to the software at the locations where the measurement points are taken. The system will perform as same as the systems that have encoder feedback.

DP2-0202MV-D Model 

The system is for customers who require digital imaging and accurate measurement on small parts. The system uses digital positioners to feedback the stage position continuously to the computer. The measurement can be performed by moving either crosshair or digital positioners, or both. The standard equipped digital positioner used has 0.000025” resolution and higher resolution is optional. With the software stage mapping and edge detection, the system can measure up to 2” x 2” size with high degree of precision.

Standard Components

Base has 2” x 2” XY travel open frame stage with built in sub-stage illumination. 

Micrometer Head (for P model) has 0.0001 inch resolution and 1 inches travel with 1" spacer.

Digital Micrometer (for D model) has 0.000 025 inch resolution and 2 inches travel.

Encoder Interface (for D model) connects digital meter to the computer. The software read the stage position from the encoder interface.

Optics is 70XL zoom with 1X TV tube. The primary magnification ranges from 0.75X to 5.25X. 

Camera is a 1/3" NTSC CCD Color camera with 480 TV Lines of resolution, composite and S-video outputs.

Video Card  is a color PCI card takes one S-video and one composite video inputs. The card supports NTSC/PAL format.

Illumination 20 Watt halogen sub-stage.

DMP1500 software is very easy-to-use and provides functions for broad applications. Such as measurement, inspection, comparison, annotation, image capture and documentation. 

Optional Components

Digital Camera has option for 1280 x 1024 pixel monochrome or color IEEE1394 digital camera.

Detented Zoom is Optem 70XL detented zoom lens with 1X TV tube. The magnification ranges from 0.75X to 5.2X. The lens has stops at 0.75, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Motorized Zoom  is controlled by software and provides the repeatable steps and calibrations.

DMP3000 software provides sub-pixel edge detection and programming and much more.

Computer is Pentium 4 / Athlon XP processor based, 15” LCD flat-panel monitor and Microsoft Windows XP operating system.
